1. Payment Terms

• A 70% deposit is payable upon acceptance of the quote and prior to commencement of production.
• Proof of balance payment is required prior to collection of the vehicle – strictly COD.
• A design fee may apply based on complexity and type of design required.

2. Production Lead Time

• Production lead time is approximately 10 working days, subject to:
  
  • Final artwork sign-off.
  • Stock availability.
  • Receipt of the 70% deposit.
• Vehicle photos are required before design sign-off can commence to confirm vehicle design templates. Once confirmed, design takes 5–7 working days (subject to capacity).
• Further design changes require an additional 2–3 working days.
• A Test Print (colour and image quality check) will be signed off once by Yelloway BV Head Office and will apply nationally unless colours/images change.

3. Call-Out & Travel Fees

• A call-out fee of R2,500 (excl. VAT) applies within a 50km radius of Cape Town CBD.
• Distances exceeding 50km will be charged at R5.90 per km.
• Accommodation (if required) will be for the client’s account.

4. Quote Validity

• This quote is valid for 7 days from the date issued.

5. Cancellation Policy

• Missed branding slot: Cancellation fee of R1,500.
• Cancellation >48 hours before scheduled appointment: Client credited for application fee; production balance due in full.
• Cancellation <48 hours before scheduled appointment: Full balance as per accepted quote is due. If rescheduled, an additional application fee (as per quote) will apply.

6. Ownership of Materials

• All decals, materials, and designs remain the property of Yelloway BV until paid for in full.

7. Vehicle Preparation & Client Responsibilities

• Remove all valuables from vehicles prior to branding. Yelloway BV is not responsible for loss of personal belongings.
• Provide:
  
  • Company details (VAT number, address, telephone, vehicle registration, order/reference name).
  • Clear photographs of the vehicle.
• If vehicle template is not on file, Yelloway BV may require on-site measurement (call-out fee applies).
• Stripping of existing branding is not included unless specified in the quote.
• Handles and side mirrors are not standardly branded (can be included without warranty if requested).
• Branding of Controvision and window lettering is at client’s own risk. Controvision has a 6-month warranty (cannot be varnished).

8. Liability Exclusions – Application & Removal Yelloway BV cannot be held liable for damage to vehicles during application or removal of vinyl under the following circumstances:

• Vehicle has been re-sprayed due to accident (must outgas for 2 weeks post-panel beating before branding).
• Vehicle is older than 3 years at time of branding.
• Paint is lifting on any part of the vehicle.
• Colour-coded plastic areas (e.g., bumpers, side beadings, mirrors).
• Yelloway BV is not responsible for paintwork on plastic components (paint adheres differently to plastic vs. metal).

Note: Clients are advised to insure branding through their insurance provider.

9. Vinyl Settling Period

• Vinyl requires a 1–2 week settling period for adhesive to reach optimum strength.
• Slight movement or small bubbles post-application are normal and should settle within 2 weeks.

10. Post-Application Warranty Claim Process

• Clients have a 7-day grace period from branding date to report vinyl lifting, movement, or bubbling.
• Yelloway BV will schedule a convenient fix.
• Failure to report within 7 days voids the warranty.

11. Vehicle Branding Pro-Rata Warranty

Warranty Conditions:

• Applied by Yelloway BV.
• Vehicles cleaned per Yelloway BV instructions (provided with each branded vehicle).

Recommended Cleaning Instructions: Allowed:

• Hand wash with hose.
• Standard car shampoo (no waxes/polishes).
• Car sponges, chamois, mutton cloth.

Avoid:

• Machine car wash
• Power hoses
• Abrasive materials
• Waxes, polishes, chemicals
• Strong detergents
• Sunlight soap, Diamond Guard, etc.
• Water-only cleaning

Washing Frequency:

• Private vehicles: Minimum once per week
• Commercial vehicles: Minimum twice per week

Note: Yelloway BV cannot guarantee colour matching in repairs. Zone 3 UV conditions: 2% fade per annum on pigmented films.

12. Vinyl Removal

• Yelloway BV is not responsible for paint damage upon removal if:
  
  • Vehicle was older than 2 years at time of branding.
  • Vehicle was not accident-free at branding.
• Removal is an additional charge (only if performed by Yelloway BV).

13. Graffiti Tarp Pro-Rata Warranty (if applicable)

Tarp Warranty Conditions:

• Applies only to Yelloway-approved PVC substrates.
• Excludes physical damage due to impact, incorrect cleaning, or misuse.
• Claims must be submitted in writing with proof (photos, report) within warranty period.
• Tarps must be available for immediate inspection.

14. On-Site Application

• Full payment must be received before on-site branding commences.

15. Application Timeline

• Branding takes 1 full working day (unless otherwise arranged).
• Recommended: Collect vehicle the following morning to allow vinyl to settle.

16. General Terms

• All timelines are estimates and subject to capacity, stock, and client readiness.
• Yelloway BV reserves the right to adjust timelines with prior notice.

Acceptance of Terms By accepting this quote and making payment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
